Lodz is the third largest city in Poland after Warsaw and Krakow with population of over 700 000 people. Although situated in the very centre of Poland, Lodz is omitted by most of the foreign tourists visiting our country. It is mainly beacuse of relatively short history and lack of precious, world-famous monuments. However we want to encourge you to visit Lodz and take our panoramic city tour to discover interesting facts about this city which used to be the centre of Polish textile industry and place of great contrasts where vast fortunes and huge poverty existed side by side.

During our city tour you will visit Ksiezy Mlyn – industrial district of Lodz and see the factory of Karol Scheibler – famous captain of industry. Another factory on the way belonged to Izrael Poznanski – one of the richest businessmen in Lodz. Today his factory is a modern shopping center called Manufaktura. Poznanski had also his own Palace called today Poznanski Palace. Finally we will take a walk down the Piotrkowska Street – famous for exclusive shops and being the longest pedestrianized street in Poland.
