The historic centre of Krakow was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1978. During our tour you will discover the most significant sites of Krakow's Old Town area. Our local city guide will tell you about a rich history of this Royal Town which used to be a capital city of Poland until 1596. You will walk along the Royal Route so and have a possibility to admire beauty of the Old Town's well-preserved medieval architecture and layout. You will see the giant Market Square which is considered as one of the largest medieval town squares in Europe. You will find there the impressive Gothic St. Mary's Basilica. You will see the famous Slowacki Theatre and the buildings of the Jagiellonian University - one of the oldest universities in Europe. Finally, you will reach a Wawel Hill where the Wawel Castle is towering above the city of Krakow and river Vistula.
